I wouldn´t have seen this kite in the tree above me, had I not been out for a photography session. As soon as I hang the camera around my neck I tend to be much more perceptive of details when I stroll around looking for possible photo opportunities. It was a hopeless case in terms of composition since there was way too much distracting elements around the tree but anyway I do like the result. I made it monochrome except for the kite which I wanted to pop out a bit. Comments, anyone?

A beautiful use of selective color ... the monochrome is deep and rich with a luminescent quality about it ... captures very well the emotion the child must have felt upon losing his/her kite.

Fantastic and so supernatural. I really love the red point iwith this threatening sky in the behind. Perfect composition.
