And here´s my daughter. I´m not quite pleased with this though. It was quite noisy and I cropped it significantly so the sharpness just wasn´t there. Anyway, I consider it one of my first true efforts in portraiture and just like in yesterday's post Lab color was used. I realize that portraits of loved ones is really hard since the photographer sees the person and therefore run the risk of being blind when it comes to photographic quality. Please comment on this one, I would really appreciate any help to make images like this more appealing.

I think you've captured her in a very natural and sweet pose ... there's a softness about the shot that works well with the tight crop ... she's a real beauty and this shot captures the warmth and glow of that natural beauty very well!
